“Survivors”, South Georgia.

Last year, I issued a print I titled “Hope”, it shows two king penguins on the riverbank in St Andrews Bay, a unique place with the largest colony of these penguins in the world. Back then, the day after our landing, St Andrews was closed to visitors due to an outbreak of avian flu, threatening all life on South Georgia due to the massive concentration of wildlife on the island.

Now, I want to title the photo I took this year “The Survivors”. These are beautiful and healthy king penguins from the St Andrews colony, where everything turned out fine, and now the animals are safe. Let it stay that way!

• The art print includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

• Please note that due to white borders, the actual paper size will have an additional 6cm (2,38in) on both the width and the height of your chosen size. These borders will be removed in the framing shop when you will frame the print.
