Through the Looking Glass
Through the Looking Glass
Photo art print, unframed, printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Digital Pearl paper with 3cm (1.19in) borders.
“Through the Looking Glass”, Sakhalin Island, Far East Russia.
A curious, Jonathan the seagull, peeping on us in an abandoned “Aniva” lighthouse on Sakhalin Island, the far east of Russia. The Aniva Lighthouse is one the most famous and inaccessible lighthouses in Russia. You can only get there by water and the tides are strong, but the breathtaking scenery makes the journey worth while. Construction finished in 1939, and was well designed for living, even if its keepers had to work in extreme weather conditions. But today, the Aniva Lighthouse stands empty and abandoned, like an old, impregranble fortress where seagulls have made their home.
The art print includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
Please note that due to white borders, the actual paper size will have an additional 6cm (2,38in) on both the width and the height of your chosen size. These borders will be removed in the framing shop when you will frame the print.
