This Australian sea lion, quietly keeping to itself, instantly drew my attention. Our eyes met, and I couldn’t help but reflect on the uncertain future of these remarkable creatures.

As Australia’s only native seal, the Australian sea lion is also its rarest. Critically endangered and facing escalating threats, fewer than 6,500 remain in the wild — a fragile reminder of what we stand to lose.

• Please note that due to white borders, the actual paper size will have an additional 6cm (2,38in) on both the width and the height of your chosen size. These borders will be removed in the framing shop when you will frame the print.
