I got into wildlife photography only about 6 years ago, and it all began with this photo. I was travelling to the Azores Islands and bought a simple camera in an underwater plastic box on a bit of a whim. As we sailed on the zodiac across the Atlantic Ocean, we came across a group of sperm whales. My friend practically threw me into the water, saying - “try to get a good shot!”. My heart was beating out of my chest, I made an awkward movement with my flippers, which startled the whales and they took off into the depths. At the moment, I clicked the shutter...and here’s that moment.

• The art print includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

• Please note that due to white borders, the actual paper size will have an additional 6cm (2,38in) on both the width and the height of your chosen size. These borders will be removed in the framing shop when you will frame the print.
