Juvenile golden trevally often accompany larger fish for protection, mimicking the behaviour of pilotfish. And they also accompany Dugongs, waiting to feed on the invertebrates foraged in the seagrass beds. With age the yellow becomes more silver and they grow up to 1,2 meters and weigh up to 15 kilo!
